Suggestions with regards to ReCom Wiki

Yes please do. I think some of the pages were copied straight from the sponsors' websites. It's fine but please do modify the tone to make it more "encyclopaedic".

By the way I appreciate everyone's contribution and suggestion, but similar to See Hua I am facing my exams in two weeks time so I can only implement changes after that. Sorry for the delay.

Placeholder pages have been created for TOEFL and IELTS. I will do several redirection pages later today after my examinations.

BTW, if you think that there are articles that belongs to the wiki, feel free to create them. Just type in the supposed name of the article into the search box, and click on "create this page" link that comes in the next page. Put in your text, simple ones like "placeholder" will do if you would like for someone to complete it for you, and save it

I can only see Cendana and Akasia in the life in college page. Since normal member can't edit the portal page, I hope Wiki technician can add a link to the portal for every college, so that the members can edit it..

This is the list of colleges I found in education forum (perhaps it's not complete):

Kolej MARA Banting (KMB)
Kolej MARA Seremban (KMS)
Kolej Teknologi Timur (KTT)
Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM)

These belongs more to the private universities in Malaysia list. The life in colleges category is more for those articles that describe a student's life in the uni, like for example:

1. What to expect for their first week there
2. lifestyle
3. foods and accomodations
4. financial requirements

and so on...

What if I want to write about life in a particular college? Since there are quite some ReCommers in these colleges, especially JPA scholars, perhaps they can help with the FAQ related to life in these colleges...

Feel free to start any new article on any college, you just have to type in the college's name in "search", a new page would show up telling you that the page doesn't exist, and you are then given an option of creating a new article on the topic.

I wonder if there's a way for the mods/admins to create a link that can let us go back to previous page easily just like the one we have in recom forum:

I find it quite annoying as I need to click back a few times to go to the previous page (after editing)(I will jump back to the editing page if i click back) or click to recom wiki homepage to reenter the place so that I can continue to edit other subs (e.g. Malay Language and English Language) under the same category (e.g. Studying Tips).

Its just a suggestion and its okay if it can't be done.

Its just a suggestion and its okay if it can't be done. [/quote]Good idea. I have found something online to do just that. Do be patient as I upload and slowly update the pages so that they will use the new extension
