RM100k, is it enough? self sponsor cost for master in manchester

hello i need your advise here

i'm planning to go to salford university, manchester this september for my master

since i didnt get mara spc, we decide to self sponsor my study there

i will bring my husband and my 1yr old daughter along

we are willing to spend RM 100k (18000 pound) including fees, accomodation and living cost

can we survive with this budjet amount? how about visa? can they approve us with this amount of money?

fyi, my study fees is 8700 pound for duration 12 months

so balance for living cost is 10000/12 month = 800 pound per family per month

is this enough? actually this fund come from our family

I doubt that will be sufficient considering you also have a family. Well 800 pounds for yourself will be enough

as i read according to new point based system, if you study is one year , you need to prove financially that you can support fully your education cost + pound 560 per month . The financial statement such as bank statement to prove you have the money ) I am not sure about bringing your family tho.
