As some of you may have noticed from my signature, heeding vseehua's call for more university-specific FAQs, I am currently writing a guide about my university. It's almost done: I just have one last section to do and some minor touch-ups before it is ready for public viewing.

Anyway, on to the point of this topic. I thoroughly enjoyed myself in the writing and compilation of the guide, and recently I had this idea of writing yet another guide, but about writing a good argumentative essay [think debate speeches where you have to make a point and be convincing at it]. However, owing to my insane schedule this term [silly me for signing up for so many activities but it IS the summer term after all!] I'll leave it up to public demand. Are you guys interested in a guide of such a topic? If there is a lack of interest I will happily bin the idea, but if the response is good I might see what I can do about it.

So, what say you? Yay or nay?

Well, I was once an English state level debater. Essays...hmm, I got A1 for 1119 SPM and was the Top 50 teenage writer Malaysia Wordsmith Competition 2007. Tips on a good argument? I think I can help but its probably too long to write it down. Email me at sapphirelwj(at)gmail for any enquiries and I will do the best i can to help. Well done, glassylicious!

Awesome! =D I was state level for Kelantan but we crashed in finals by a whisker. T_T Have you ever done Nanowrimo by any chance?

I was going to compile all the tips my tutors have been giving me but every little bit helps. If you're interested in contributing, pop me an e-mail [can easily be found in my profile] with stuff which you think might fit in well/be helpful and I'll incorporate the stuff in. Cool? =)

If this idea goes through it won't be another 3 weeks before it is done at the very least, as I'm involved in a festival organized by my college next week AND I have some intense training for an upcoming tournament. So if you're interested in helping, you have plenty of time. XP No pressure.

Hey hey, no pressure. If you decide in the end that you're not up for it, it's perfectly okay. I embarked on this project expecting to do the work, so nobody is obliged to volunteer to help or anything.

Hmmm... the guide should be useful, especially to those who need to learn about technical and professional writing, or academic writing. As such a guide will help students, especially those in universities to write their reports and findings, why not have it?
