Since I'm volunteering for Youth'09 anyway, I'll be there. So sign me up!
 What kind of space will ReCom be given - hall, open air etc? Equipment? Is the point of the gathering more for ReCommers to mingle or also for the other visitors to Youth'09 to find out about ReCom?

Guess they will be giving us open space.
On whether it would just be ReComers or for us to include others, it is up to us. My thoughts would be that it would be a ReComers gathering, and we can drag in others too. Fellow ReComers, hope to see a lot more of you guys respond to attend?

well, i will try my best to make up some time for the event ^^ wish to be there. Hope my college dun have any activity on tat weekend and then i can travel to KL on tat weekend ^^

I know it's rather early to be thinking about this, and we should be thinking about the activities first - but is there a dress code? Do you plan to have one?
We can have one so that we can tell easily who are fellow ReComers.

My thought of the activity would be more of mingling and getting to know each other. Don't think we need to have fancy activities, as there would be tons of events going on at PWTC there too. So, my thought is that what ReComers want to do is to know each other, especially putting face to nick in ReCom.
What do you guys think? Yeah, some form of identity would be good to see each other. Any suggestion? Hope to see more ReComers responding on this! Lets have a great ReCom gathering!!!

Er... I don't really think a dress code sounds cool.
But I don't mind a Recom T-shirt, even if it costs cash. A badge for registered members works too. Is this event to publicize recom to other youths? For the sharing session, are we going to have a forum or something? If that's so, we should have a focus on what to talk about. Like, maybe pick a random popular topic to talk about. Scholarships, politics, blogging, Recom, education system, racial integration, etc.

Thanks jieweitan for highlighting it. Can more ReComers put it in your signature?
On t-shirt or badge, as of now ReCom.org has no budget to make those, unless it is made and sold at cost. It is to provide a platform for ReComers to mingle among each other and it would be good if we can get others attention. How about any ReComer design an interesting "R"? and we print it and hold it? Yeah, having a forum to discuss could be good too? My thoughts would be on education issues? Keep ideas going! Hope to see more going!
