The Terry Fox Run Kuala Lumpur 2008 will be held on November 2 at Lake Gardens, with the flagging off scheduled at 9am. Since it began in 1983, the Terry Fox Run has become the largest, single-day, fundraising event for cancer research. The run would mark its 18th edition in KL this year with the Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation (CARIF) being the beneficiary.
Participation for the run is via the purchase of the Terry Fox 2008 T-shirt, priced at RM25. It is available at the Canadian High Commission, CARIF office in Subang Jaya Medical Centre, at Lake Gardens prior to the run, Menara Citibank and 1 Utama Shopping Centre (the latter two on selected dates).
