I took A levels, my dad insists that it's a bad choice, but I had no regrets. I learned a lot in A levels, but I'm still not prepared to waste it by taking a business degree in Malaysia. I find the business degrees here very commercialized somehow.
Can I have some opinions on this issue? I'm trying to gain more perspectives. =) Thanks a lot.
Are you planning on becoming an actuary? I too did pondered on this for quite a bit but alas, I decided against it. Thus far, I have yet to hear anything about UTAR's actuarial science undergraduate program, which is not necessarily a bad thing but does not ascertain its quality or reputation either.
Let me guess, your dad must have felt that by going for A levels, you are deprived of entry into local university thus a bad choice, no?
: Even if it is a 'bad choice', there is no turning back and what matters now is your tertiary education. If I were you, I would definitely opt for overseas education.
