So which is the better deal?

I don't really think there is much difference between the two, except in terms of location. After all your degree is accredited by the foreign counterpart and recognized by both countries.

If this were the case, there are many unseen benefits of going to a foreign university for your tertiary education.

Benefits like:
1) Building a strong network since you get to meet with students from all parts of the world.

2) Learn to be more independent.

3) Experience another country's culture, lifestyle...

the list goes on.

i would like to add some more on Caprio's list :

~can learn foreign language too ( if you are going to countries with their own language ) and can learn their accent of speaking English which i think is really fun...haha...( Go England, learn the British accent, US learn America accent......)
~and i think its good if one studying abroad as its less likely for us to stay a few years overseas (except one migrate / rich enough to have trips or vacation in a particular country for years or working) to experience cultures/traditions/meeting people in that particular country and in the meantime studying also..

Not much difference between them except location, as you said and maybe the lecturers. And studying in an offshore university allows you the opportunity to transfer to the other campus on your last year of studying.

I beg to differ. There is a vast difference. Try to see the previous posts.

Question.

Do you have the money? The answer depends hugely on whether or not you have the financial means to pick either one of the choice
