Remember that in Malaysia, attempted suicide in a crime. Which is a bit stupid if you ask me. There's the usual argument about protecting human autonomy. Actually committing suicide is not a crime [because they obviously can't prosecute a dead man] but attempting it is. First ever type of wrong that only penalizes the "attempted" counterpart.
Even the UK has a statute that indirectly protects suiciders.So anyway, if we want to do away with the banning of euthanasia, we'll need to tackle this ridiculous suicide law first.

Obviously our police and our lawmakers are taking over the profession of social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, you name it. Hilarity ensues when people who don't know what they are doing are the people who make the decision about important things.

I disagree with the fact that "I have the right to choose to die". Why? Because....we are God's creation and only He that have the right to take our lives.
