Err, actually. I think it is compulsory for them to give their details. But, the domain owners can put up proxy to prevent people from getting their detail, if MYNIC has the option.

Actually, it's a common sense that .my or .com.my is so expensive compare to .com because all of these domains are controlled (monopolized) by MYNIC. And is same like we buy more expensive oil than other country who is oil and natural gas producer like us. Sigh~
