Wow, this two animes had appeared quite long beforehand. These happened to be your favorites because you watched them on Animax, right?

I like law of ueki, and over-optimistic charateristics and some emotional appeal he shows in the series.

There won't be a second season. The manga ends there as well as the anime. Well, there is a second season of Ueki's manga but it is a spinoff and does not follow the original content. Here, all the characters except for Ueki are changed.

i seriously hated the battle scenes in yuyu hakusho.. boring, repetitive and entirely predictable. Childish character emotions only helped to make YYH a chore to watch.
Samurai X was great fun to watch though. That's how you noe whether an anime is good: if you're willing to endure insistent naggings from ur mum to eat dinner just to watch THAT final 5 minutes of the anime, then it would be a good anime...for YOU. haha.

i agree with you about samurai X d3stiny.....it is very addictive ...but wat you said about yu yu hakusho is not entirely true btw.... yes maybe the fighting scenes are predictable but it is INTERESTING AND FUN...I personaly believe it has more lovable characters compared to other animes like Naruto... (just my opinion tats all)

Destiny you should read the manga!!! I don't know how much it differs from the anime but older animes like those DO tend to repeat scenes infinitely. Have you seen Sailormoon? Pengsan.

Read the manga but didn't really liked watching SamX - partly because I had to watch it from Ntv7 and partly because somehow every time I watch it, it's a repeat. I can still remember the episode up till now: that mummified guy and his henchmen burning tokyo up. ROTFL.

If your parent ended up tearing.. (like TEARING!) your comic books at a young age of 8/9, then I guess it must have been pretty good stuff lol.

I think I should start a "what's the most extreme thing you've done regarding anime/ mangas?" thread.
