Maybe approaches should be implemented to prevent others from multi-posting as well while they actually can compress everything into one single post. Anyway, merely suggestion....

I am working on that right now. I hate double postings that only meant to increase postcount unnecessarily and slows the forum down.

I agree with what you said but it is pretty impossible for me to do it alone. I have been trying to learn how to configure the ftp of this forum but I haven't been able to install any MODS into it successfully. If someone can teach me how to do it, of course I will install all these mods to make the forum runs smoothly.

Personally, I will like to install:

Auto-merge posts MOD
- This mod will automatically merge all the double postings/triple postings and so on

New themes
- this theme is getting a little dull

Thank You Mod
- this mod allows people to thank others for good posts

Spoiler Mod
- put things in spoiler

and so on.

BUT I haven't been able to fully understand how the ftp works. So I guess you will just have to wait for now. I myself am really really excited to install all these mods if I am capable of doing it right now with my limited IT skills.

I don't really think that the second opinion would stand. As we all know, there are some recommers who enjoy posting long entries(like me) whenever a particular topic is intellectually stimulating or we simply have a lot of experiences that we wish to share.I would, however suggest that every recommers that wrote something long on the threads to bold the main points that they are driving at, ensuring a better understanding the perspective shared.

I think some the double posting is because when the page is not loading after you write your post, you keep on refreshing or pressing 'SUBMIT'...

i faced this problem before...

Well, then those guys who did the double posting must have forgotten there's a edit button on top right side of their post....

U can only 'edit' the post, but not delete it. 'It' refers to the first post which was posted twice

Are you sure about that?

Can you demonstrate that out in this thread?

Try doing a double post. Then try to delete the first one. If it fails, try delete the second one.

Tell me if you can delete either one of them. There should be a "X" button for you to delete it.

If there is none, click "edit" scroll down the page until you see

disable html in this post
disable BBcode in this post
disable smilies in this post
attach signature
notify me when a reply is posted
DELETE THIS POST

Tell me if you can see that. If you can, try delete either one of the post. If you can't see it, then it's fine.
