There could be many factors that contribute to low blood pressure, and low blood volume is one of them.

I am not a doctor, just a medical student.

Just to provoke your thought. Let's take a scenario where there's a guy who is willing to donate one organ (whatever it is). Would his life be at stake? What if one family member, who's desperate enough, would go and take this guy life (say, accident), so that his organ would soon be donated.

What would be your reaction?

The family that receives the donation would be placed in a waiting list. Most donors are only known after they have passed away and the health care system is notified either by their immediate family member or through the organ donation system.

As the receiver you should have no idea who will be your donor until you have been crossed matched and until you receive the organ I think. So the donor should have no risks of being 'murdered' by the receiver.

Some of the major factors include low blood volume (e.g. due to blood loss, dehydration etc), weak heart (due to various heart diseases), decreased nervous "drive" (due to drugs, infections etc). The list is endless.

For overview, read this:

One of the factors of low blood pressure ---> Low blood volume

Hence, could we assume high blood volume as one of the factors that contributes to high blood pressure?

Theoretically, if you inject litres of water / blood into a person's veins, you could fill up his circulation so much that he might actually get a high pressure.

But in real life, this is not the actual cause of the usual high blood pressure. It's due to the imbalance of the nervous control of blood vessels, hormone levels etc. In many cases, scientists aren't even sure about the exact trigger of high blood pressure yet, although the mechanism and the control method are well known.
