DOS is ancient, but command prompt isn't...

In fact, it's one of the most usable, fastest, powerful ever to be invented for the computer...

Anyway, I am sure you guys will be surprised to know that some people actually still uses text-based net, because for all their purposes, they don't need all the multimedia options ;)

Firefox is supposed run faster than IE, right?
But my IE 7 is faster than my Firefox 2. Why?
I'm not that tech-savvy so I didn't dare to use beta version.
Any suggestions?

Well, I am not really sure why. It might be the various add ons that you've added to your firefox.

Well, i've been using the Firefox beta for quite a long while, and it haven't crashed on me (yet). I suppose it is stable enough for public consumption as of it's current state ;)

On the side note: various publications just recently named firefox 3 as the best browser out there.

And safari 3.1 is a tad slower compared to version 3.0

The thing is, I didn't install any add-on.
Oh.. yeah. What do you think of Flock and Netscape? They are remarkable like firefox. But they are faster than Firefox in my machine.
