Kolej Bumiputera terbaik dan terbesar di Malaysisa! (yeah right)

Anyone received a call from someone that's offering a higher national diploma course at some college in Negeri Sembilan who claims to be "kolej bumiputera terbaik dan terbesar di malaysia"? Also claims to have the most students receiving scholarships (convertible loan actually) from MARA. If you get CGPA 3.5, you can get a scholarship to do a degree at University East London for just 1.5 years.

They asked me to go to Mantin for a taklimat and interview.

Did some research and I think it's a scam. Link below shows...

I'm a chinese, and I got a call from them a couple of months ago, stating that I got an offer to study in their higher national diploma course.

how can it be a bumiputera college if they're calling non-bumi students?

@Butters: I think they know more than just your phone number. I've read around and some even said they came to your doorstep to convince you to enter the college.

i've received the calls from a guy from that college before. . and he keeps calling back asking me to enrol there. . when i said my dad says no, he even asked for my dad's hp no! 8O 8O and of course i didn't give it. . spread a little white lies and he stop calling. .

I did receive an offer letter from them too...but just ignored it..

This is disturbing, someone should notify the authorities to conduct the relevant investigations into this. It seems to me that the extent of their operation is quite large, considering a few of you got their calls.

The better alternative is through blogs and other alternative media.
(It works well on things like SMS scam incident, the Dr. MCMC hoo haa)
