For those who got B. Ed. (TESL), you don't have to worry whether it's linking to Local or Oversea Universities, since ALL OF YOU, are going ABROAD after your foundation years at any local teaching institute (2 years+3 months holidayy in Malaysia!). Congrats!!
Although previously we had local studies for TESL, now no longer. TESL Cycle 2 (The final, Cohort 5) will be the last to study locally. So, you're the first cohort for TESL Cycle 3!! Don't be arrogant towards your seniors, okay? We're not that lucky, but we still need to live based on mutual respects!
Last time I had my interview, they asked us to write an essay (you may choose any of the topics given) and then they'll ask you to answe r an objective paper (tricky questions to know whether you're suitable to be a teacher or not - JUST ANSWER honestly since you won't have time, above 60 questions in 30minutes?).. Just after that I had my interview session. It's not so hard. Just talk about anything you comfortable with as a beginning. After that, they'll ask something about education and how do we deal with it. In my case, they asked me how to make people speak English.
You guys must remember that the competition is quite higher than previous years (who doesn't want to go to overseas for free meh?? Remember this is not PTPTN, this is GOMEN SCHOLARSHIP!!- SO do ur best!! Chaio chaio!!
