Visual Basic C++ is 1 of the subject of chemical engineering at my university.
so i can conclude, u need to learn the basic of programming, if you want to join engineering workforce.
be inisiative and try open ur mind. life is really different after u enter uni/college.
i am talking oabout my uni life experience at germany and i can'T compare other uni life in other country. but i tell my experience: here, professors don't give note, u need to print it online, homework also can be found online, at the professor homepage website. almost all info about subject can be found at the professor homepage website. i print many notes, as many as 400+ pages for 1 subject only for 1 sem usage ONLY.
u need to register for ur exam paper by urself. nobody will tell u the time to register for ur exam paper. if u miss it, that mean u waste 1 sem of time and u can't sit for the paper u forget to register until new sem start.
all result are confidential. professor won't tell other and you about another person result.
there r also extra subject that you can take, but you can decide if you want to sit for the extra subject exam, as it is of your choice. basically, i like to register for extra subject, but don't take the exam, example language course. i learn to speak and master, but not for the sake of exam.
professor won'T tell u, when he will be having quiz or small test n etc. 1 final exam decide u fail with excellent or pass with excellent.
btw, professor here won't take attendance. you want to miss his whole lesson for 1 sem, he also let you do it. and u can still come to sit for his exam, without hearing his lesson.
