Global village & global education

I came across these two terms for quite a number of times. Frankly speaking, they are very vague to me. Therefore, in order for me to prepare for a conference that is coming up in NUS, I have a few questions here.

1. What will the world look like in the year 2050?
2. Will it become a "global village"? If so, in what sense?
3. How will global education help to shape these future scenarios?
4. Will global education be the paradigm of higher education in 2050?

well its the same but in UPM miracle we call it global village...
practically..
Duncan was cool, Nancy was so stunning, Kasturi, Vaibhav & Deepak was so informative, Marco so Ciao Bello, Marjoline and EEfje so friendly, Jih Yun..Boo Boo Boo !!! LOve you Jih Yun...shes so cute...
and Tall Vladmir was vry cool and handsome alongside Katerine...i think dats her name wasnt close to her...anyway..

How shall I prepare for a conference? As this is going to be my first-time experience, I would really appreciate if anyone can post their experience here. Each conference may differ, but there should be something in common that one can take note of.
