~if u're going to take biology in stpm, i suggest u to get the following books from any bookshop, which are: the biological science volume 1&2, Life on Earth.
~For chemistry, better u get Organic chemistry and Physical Chemistry published by Fajar Bakti. Inorganic Chemistry shd get published from Longman one.
~Pure math or Matematik Tulen, i recommend u to take the fajar bakti's and pelangi's. If u're interested to do further math, then u should consider the Pure Math, wrote by L Bostock and S Chandler.
~PA Kenegaraan pls refer to Longman Pre-U PA. That's a nice books and consists many relevent notes. For the paper 2 of PA, only teachers can help u.

'Bostock and Chandler' is an A-level core mathematics text book. It is not a FM textbook.

very different......but you may buy it for reference.

You can get A-levels FM in any major bookstores.....kinokuniya, MPH, borders etc

Try university bookstore, section 14 PJ, you may find FM textbooks for STPM.

It depends on your own situation and ability. Some people need all the help that is available, some don't need at all.

kimsiang went through STPM without tuition, if my memory serves me right, and got 5As, all 1s!!! So, what do you think?

I am a lower sixth student this year. Personally I think for Physic you should read both the Longman's and the Pelangi's. Although Pelangi one is the old syllabus, it's sometimes better than the Longman's one since it shows how to derive most of the formulas.
