Good luck and be quick..
Wow, thanks. Sadly, I'm in Science stream, taking Physics and Chemistry.
And I'm only in Upper 6 this year, which means, I'll be sitting for the STPM end of this year.

Is there any else for science students?
haha..i am also a science student, but not as young as you guys.
i think its wise of u to plan early.i quite regretted not doing so.now i am just searching for scholarships.i will let u know if i find anymore.
Are u taking 4 or 5 subjects?since u mention u take phy and chem,meaning u dont take bio, right?wat bout further maths?
just curious..
For our school, you are to choose either Physics or Biology, while Chemistry is compulsory for all.
As for Further Math, only Physics students are allowed to take.
Only few are taking.
So, the 99% of the students are taking 4 subjects.

Any reply is very much appreciated

Thanks ^.^
Hey , there are plenty of scholarship waiting for STPM leavers in overseas.
1. Japan - AIEJ scholarship and Japanese Government Scholarship
2. US - check with MACEE ( mostly partial scholarship that offered by US university itself)
3. UK - check with British Council
If you are free, you may take your time to surf the net to check with every university you want to apply. Most of them offer scholarship to International Student as you know STPM is worldwide recognized. In US, STPM can be granted transfer credit , this mean you will be admited to second year. ( ONLY in US)

Going to US, SAT and TOEFL thingy are required right? How it works? I mean a, as we are taking STPM this year, it's not likely for us to sit for the SAT thingy. I'm just clueless. Could you please enlighten me on this?

There are unlimited scholarships at these universities:Yale, MIT, Princeton and Harvard.

The only condition is that you have to get admitted to this universities in the first place.

Make an appointment with MACEE (I was sitting for A Levels, and it is not likely to sit for the SAT thingy as well... information is pretty easy to find if you take the trouble to look for it ) Or Google it. There is a lot of information floating around online.

Only one condition:

1. Get admitted to Yale, Princeton, Harvard or MIT in the first place. Not an easy task!

(Your household income must be below RM 30 000 per month to get a scholarship- estimate- but since most of Malaysia earns less than RM 30 000 per month, I am pretty sure that most of you have fufilled this condition. For a full scholarship, your household income must be below RM 14, 250 per month)

Try checking out www.collegeboard.com and www.toefl.org . The information is there.

As SAT1 and SAT2 are typically on Saturday, you shouldn't face any problem in taking it. And TOEFL could be taken in one afternoon, so you may only need to skip an hour or two of lectures only.

All the best~! For SAT1 and SAT2, you may need some preparations.
