Does anybody know if JPA will accept American Degree Programme (ADP) studies in Taylor's Uni? I know they only stated STPM, Asasi, A-Levels and IB but i'm confused because there are some SAM/ADP students under JPA a couple years back.

Would call them up but it's midnight right now.

Has anyone called JPA to ask about the criteria to get PILN or PIDN? Thanks.

Edexcel is modular form. Means you take the exams every sem and can retake until you get the results you like. Cambridge has only 2 exams, AS and A2.
Are they going to provide accommodation?
I called up MOE but they said no. U cari sendiri they said

If only JPA personnel read our questions here and provide the answers in the FAQ section on their websites. That would save a lot of their time to answer our call. I tried to call the line sooooo many times and it was busy all the time! I have given up and I hope someone would answer our questions here.

Joshkun: JPA will provide us with allowances and we need to find /arrange our own accommodation. Not sure how much but I think it is sufficient with little pocket money set aside.

That sucks.

If i were to accept JPA's offer, which do you think i should take, A-levels or IB? Since financially i will be taken care of (pretty much). I prefer IB because it mixes the arts with the sciences but they say it's really hard. Opinions?

Sigh and i really wanted to do ADP. I've already registered and paid the tuition fee for this semester.

I went to KPM and asked the staff. She said that they will pay for the accommodation, but I'm not sure whether they will ARRANGE it for you or not, I don't know whether she is 100% sure about it or not. (I meant the accommodation fee).

According to her, the allowance RM430 is just for makan, KPM will pay all the books fee and accomodation fee. THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID.
Correct me if I'm wrong

When you registered and paid the fees, are you already sure that your parents are able to afford your fees including the fees in pre-U and for the degree? If you are, why don't continue doing it.

^ well, if you really wanted to do ADP, you should continue because passion is what going to bring you through tough challenges. Provided you can pay for it.

It depends on you as a person on whether to pick A-levels or IB. some are more comfortable just focusing on exam oriented assessment and a-levels is more specific compared to IB. IB has different type of assessment which includes your exam, extended essay (4000 words), and theory of knowledge. You'll also have to complete 150 hours of out-of-classroom personal growth activities.

So KPM will cover our tuition fee 100%, allowance RM430 for makan, accommodation, registration fee and external examination (Cambridge)? Am I correct?

Yeah this should be correct according to the answers given by the MOE staff after calling them numerous times.
