Yeah it's godly difficult. I've heard of entire classrooms of Taylor's kids getting offers for Imperial before, but NEVER for HYPSM. I got waitlisted at Yale today, go figure -.-
You're checking for Imperial? Good luck. Berkeley is a bit more expensive.... But the male/ female ratio isn't 10:1. ._.

which uni has such a ratio? stanford and michigan soon but i dont care about it already. i think im not suited for a liberal arts education lol. erm im from taylors, there are oxbridge people who didnt get into a single HYMSP/ivies.

then again it may be due to a lot of factors.

Why are you bitter? UCB is a GREAT school for chemical engineering. O.o anyway I just got an unconditional offer in fact I would even congratulate you for your waitlists, I think that's an achievement on its own. If you get into Stanford or Yale, then choose that la. There's a person I know who took another gappie to reapply coz she was waitlisted by Stanford, harvard, and upenn. Anyway you already got UCB!!! did you apply to oxbridge?

She got Columbia this year. Last year she got WL to the schools you mentioned. I have a source close to Yale. Uhm gonna firm Berkeley. Damn my high expectations haha. Oh well. Hope I get it?
