I heard many people say that we will become a teacher after study pure science bcoz we are bonded to gov. and so we have no choice.
Is it really like this? I dun wan to be a teacher T.T |

but what we have is only a degree, how to become researcher or professor ?

I think what's scary about choosing Pure Science course is the lack of information regarding the future and career prospects of the scholars. I have tried to google "pure science" before, and I must say the search results pretty much show repeated, and at the same time, little information (but then again, maybe I'm lousy at googling, hehe..
)I believe a lot of those who chose Pure Science right here have been questioned by those around them regarding their choice. I personally chose Pure Science because it sounds very challenging and you'll never know what you will be in the future  ! You may end up as a secondary school teacher or some researcher in a fancy lab! Either way, it just sounds fun and (rationally) risky!

For the JPA bond, you can apply to serve later if you decide to further your studies. After you've gotten your Master/PhD, you have a pass to the whole world! As long as you get a job that is enough for you to pay back, why not choose to pay back JPA for breaking bond?
Gosh, i sound discouraging people from going back to Msia.

haha,agree.
anyone know that how is the procedure of choosing the major? We can only choose bio/phy/che or there are further branches like genetic, microbiology, neuroscience or something like that? |
