I see, PIDN will be much more than this? About how much? Any idea? Haha, I bet majority applied for PILN than PIDN right?

Well, the panels said about 1000 only. Hope they really do add another 700 places.

i think i remember the interviewer said that 10,000 apply...then the number are cut down to the number of people who actually get the interview, and even cut down a little bit to the number of people who actually came to the interview.
but, 1700?? seriously??? thats too little!!!!

common sense would suggest all go for PILN but some do apply for PIDN only.. and PIDN places were more than 7000 for last year, thats the record i heard from a scholarship blogger, <i forgot who> and btw, adding 700 places COOOL~!~! gosh... i wish a JPA officer created an account in this forum and helped verify that this info is TRUE

the interviewer told me that if we are not offered to oversea, we will be given another option to go to local. And when i ask them, if we are to be given to local, can we choose our designated universities? one of them said this: we are not in the position to answer that =.=''

well.... mostly it would be for them to decide just like PILN . but of course, many would wish not to be disappointed for not getting PILN.

i kinda have to say 1700 is alot alot alot more than what i wouldve expected already .. coz last year was only 1500.. so 1700 is a bigger number itself and yea, less disappointment for the students as well. its always a good move
