Hey ReCom,

Not sure where this thread should go, but just wanted to do a shoutout. I've seen that there has been some growth and expansion in ReCom since the last time I've checked it (quite a long time ago). Some new admins (wow, didn't expect Glassylicious to be an admin, last I saw her, she was just a regular chatty member. There are probably more, but that's the most obvious one I suppose) and a new Mag.

I also see other old moderators still around, and as usual, this is the quiet season of ReCom.... the calm right before the storm when SPM & STPM results come up.

Just wanted to say, good to know ReCom is moving forward.

Thanks for the lovely post. I was actually wondering where you went, DoomScythe. XD

Glad to see you back, even if it's only for a short post or two. Hope things have been going well at your end.

Yeah, ReMag is a project that we're hoping to have as a permanent feature of ReCom. If you have any suggestions on what ReCom could do to expand and grow, feel free to voice them out.

Yeah, I second what Glassy said. We're hoping to bring ReMag to a whole new level.

And we hope to see more participation in other threads, too. We'll see what we can do to have more people engage in constructive info-sharing among the youths. I don't think of ReCom as just a scholarship info hub. You can certainly make friends, exchange ideas, and ReCom may even be a potential platform for you to get to know potential life partner. Whoever said that love can't emerge through ReCom?

And you, of all people, would know, eh?

Glassy: Thanks for the re-welcoming. I have had quite a good year. It was a year for me to 'rebuild' myself, as the previous years hasn't been kind at all. I'm actually a little surprised that you remember me, despite me having relatively few posts. As for suggestions, I will need to get a feel of ReCom again. Can't just make suggs without re-knowing the place first.

henry: I shall try to be more active. Lol, you're good at tempting people to come back by giving the possibility of love blossoming. But there's something I noticed though, people often come here for info on Education only. I was actually hoping to see more career threads emerging, since it has been years since ReCom started. I believe there are many who would have been working now.

Great to have you back. =D Are you still studying in the UK? I'm in my final year and I'm stuck here in the miserable cold and the snow -- all because I chose not to go back to Malaysia so I could revise for finals.

Nope, I'm back in Malaysia. Didn't want to leave the UK though, but I didn't have much of a choice. With the Conservative being in power, it just doesn't bode well for potential immigrants like us. I have read about the snow as well, luckily it didn't hit during my time in the UK. Friends in the UK told me that food supply was in critical danger in some stores.
