Honestly, i really love Mandarin and one day I would like to be fluent in this beautiful language. Is it hard to learn it? I do mix around with a lot of people especially indian and chinese.

Chinese Mandarin characters are beautiful, no doubts.
I think it isn't hard to learn modern/simplified Mandarin, but it's very very hard to learn traditional/classical Mandarin.
Like learning other languages, you need to use it whenever possible. As a proverb says 熟能生巧 (shu neng sheng qiao), practice makes perfect. Hope you enjoy learning such beautiful language.

I wouldn't say that it's hard, but since it's my mother tongue aka my first language, it's quite easy for me. If you learn it as second language, like how you and me learnt English, it would be hard initially. But with perseverance and determination, you should be able to master it very fast.
