Oh, you have booked your flight? In that case I'm not really sure then. I'm not involved though cause I'm studying A-Levels, instead of CPU.

hi
As a JPA-sponsored student, am I allowed to choose the subjects I wish to take for the CPU programme?
or will JPA choose for me?
I am supposed to select the subjects that I wish to take in the Taylor's College Admission Form.
Any senior, can u please enlighten me on the above matter?

Dear Alice93,
I'm sure with the form they (JPA) sent you a form regarding what subject you want to take right? I advise you to tick whatever that is related to your course first for example, engineering students need

1) ENG4U
2) ENG3U
3) Calc and Vectors
4) Advanced Functions
5) Physics
6) Chemistry

Of course, these are examples that I suggest for engineering in particular. For yours, I'm not sure. However, as you enroll, you will find that your subjects are "fixed" for you and you might feel dissatisfied as some of the subjects that you ticked in the form was not given to you (which happened to me too! ). Fear NOT! You can change subjects later as you come into CPU. Hope this helps.

Regards,
Kemai

P.S. Do let me know what course you're taking. I might be able to suggest some of the subjects that you would most probably be taking

By the way, I am taking economics/finance
Good luck in your exams

First choice: American degree transfer programme,1 or 2 years in Taylor's,the remaining in US. This is the safest choice if you want to go to US.

Second choice: A-level as it is recognised worldwide.

Hope this helps
