CIMB Bank. You can open your account now, or you can wait until JPA sends the form to you, together with your offer letter, JPA booklets and INTEC booklets.

yes you can have another bank account, or as many as you want. but you must have a CIMB bank account for JPA to bank in your allowance.

I am about to got to INTEC for Russia Preparation Program under JPA scholarship.

I am really clueless about anything. Can I know about how the course will be like and what preparation should I make before going there?

im guessing you're taking medicine too ? from what i heard, your programme is a short programme, meaning 3 months, if im not mistaken.. its to prepare you for your course in russia .its similar to a language program.you learn russian and other sub. for 3 months then fly off to russia to do your pre-med

p.s : i think i'm right if the seniors would care to clarify?

i don't know about Russian Programme so I can't help.
Anyway, no irons provided in rooms.
You are provided a bed, a locker, a study table, a plastic chair per person. There's a clothes-hanging rack, balcony, kitchen, toilet, shoe rack, 2 sofas.
As mentioned, internet connection has to be subscribed. RM20 for registration fee, RM100 per semester for subscription fee. BTW, it's 5 months per semester.

Yupp, most people subscribe P1 wimax. Maxis broadband and Celcom broadband are alternatives.
