If I'm abroad, I think I will miss my mom's dishes. I still can cook noodle soup but I haven't try cooking fried rice. Gonna try it out sometime later.
A simple fried rice BB

Oil+ Garlic+ Meat( or anything, marinated) + (any additional things you like, e.g hot dogs, shrimps) + Rice + Soy sauce (or any sauce you like, e.g salt, curry powder mixed with water, tomato sauce... ) + vegetables.

Done.

Its troublesome to cook rice to be fried. Thats why I never tried. Anyway, I'll try it out when I feel like I want to eat it. Thanks for the recipe.

we have things called meal plans... but seriously, when my cooking tastes better than campus food, you know you shouldn't have come to CMU if you wanted good food haha

Lol for me, one vege dish will be
heat oil,
stir fry shallots and garlic
add vege
add salt to taste.
Cook a short while (duh..cause vege doesn't take long to cook)
Done.

Any green leafy vege can be cooked like this =D.

Alternatively when I'm lazy just cook porridge, dump in whatever meat you have and carrots and brocolli (for that balanced diet)

=D
