Can I still apply for this? Hmm.. This is for those who've finished their Foundation or also for SPM leaver?

JAD is for SPM leavers only i think.

just finished the interview at regency hotel... it was a fun experience. met friends from penang and perlis.. laughed, gulped and laughed again.
i don't know whether the interviewers want to go easy with me or they are not interested with me or the combination of both but

the interview itself is short and filled with typical questions : what do you know about the course you're applying? how do you see yourself in 10 years? why do you deserve the scholarship? etc..

1st round is a quiz with objective questions.. there are about 20 questions about math, physics and chem. it is just about the basics, but if you are brain dead from not opening books since four months ago, you'll be doomed. formula obviously not provided.

2nd round is the interview.. for me, it was short, around 10 (awkward) minutes, but for others, it may be around 20 minutes.

edit : just remembered what the interviewer told me : JAD students can get to the N3 level of JLPT within months of intensive japanese language classes... so if you want to learn japanese fast and you like engineering, this program is for you.

Did the interviewer ask any other question and for the quiz, is it math or add math question?

why japan, what do you know about japan, what will you do in japan, what will you do when you get your degree... etc.

both math and addmath... the combination of both... sets, probability distribution.. i don't really remember.

hey thanks, Im going for the interview this saturday at KL....,and probability distribution question is going to be tough.

i want to enter this program,but i always miss or didn't know the time that YPM will call for interview..bcoz tat time,in application form,i gave them my home number,not handphone..so,will they send me a letter about this?

try contact YPM office and ask them whether you have been shortlisted or not

hey guys.

im one of the people who apply JAD last year and it feels like ur interviews is a lot tougher than mine. but still, i didnt go fr the program. still regretting, mybe.

anyway, my friend who went said that its not easy & u have to work really hard to master the language. so, good luck & all the best. and please, have fun on my behalf.
