course : Pharmacy
5 people in a group, arranged according to your birth date.Lucky for me, i got the number 1.
1.Start with self intro.Your name, previous school, family background and what course you chose.(Choose what language you prefer)

2.Why you chose the course, which country you prefer to further your study?(English)

3.How do you prepare yourself physically and emotionally to go abroad? Can you stand from living independent at overseas?(Malay)

4.Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of 1 Malaysia Clinic.(English)The time allocated is 5 minutes for the whole group,if you have opinion ,just raise your hand and answer it.Try not to talk too long so others can talk bout their thoughts too.

Advice:Be confident,do not try to say something that you are not sure bout the facts.Do not stop too long to think and don't say em....... while you are thinking.Stick to your first statement, don't change your statement every single time they ask you why.
For example:Which country you choose?
Australia.
Why?
because the country advance technology.
But Russia got good lecturers.
Actually i can accept Russia too.
Huh?didn't you just say Australia?
It shows that you are not a good decision maker.
Conclusionon't worry too much, the interviewers are very friendly.Make sure you eat and sleep enough.
Good luck to all.^^

Yeah, they are really friendly. For my group, they even told us to relax before we started our interview. They are so humour and kept made us laugh.Wow,you really got a hard question. But in fact for the 1 Malaysia Clinic's question, among 5 of us only 2 know what it's about. The others just shoot the answer and some never heard of it.Maybe because Great Wall of China is the longest wall? What is the answer?

Course : Accounting

First intro and the normal stuff. They only asked one question. What is green building? All of just just elaborated on it. Then they asked us questions about our courses. The end.

we been given the choice to answer in either bm or bi.. well.. i prefer mix both languages.
for the group discussion: do you think student should involved in politics.

Course Applied: Science

Venue: Putrajaya

Experience:

A brief account here.

Our intro were made in bm. The first ques was in english, asking us to give our opinion on serving the nation. Basically, you can talk on anything bout it. Second ques was asked in bm, a very WEIRD ques we got though. It sounded sth like, while studying abroad, you attended a party, and someone happened to give you a condom, what would your reaction be? and why do you think they hand out condoms? Sth to ponder on, eh? Haha... i was kinda shocked upon hearing that.

Anyway, in between they will ask you ques, which i think, is to substantiate statements you've made. And there weren't any group discussion for my group, we were merely asked to give our opinion.

Rating: 7/10

Additional info: I have a feeling the interviewers are looking for maturity of thoughts and the way you carry yourself. Just my 2 cents though.

Course Applied: Engineering in France

Venue: Ketereh, Kelantan

Experience:
Wore a formal attire. It was a must. Tie, long sleeve, slack and leather shoe. I was with panel three, with another 4 peeps. Two of em is my schoolmate(chinese) and another two(malay) from other schools. Entering the interview room, you probably would feel like the heart bumping more faster. After greeting em, just wait their order to ask us to sit. (Never sit down w/o their order!) Well, the interview session, just like the others, seperated into 2 parts.

#1:Introduction
For my group, the introduction didnt fixed to be done in any language. So, my friend n i did it in English and the malay guys did it in BM. The interviewer let us to talk about anything we wanted to. Due to my nervousness, i just briefly managed to talk about my name, my family and my achievement in school. I forgot to mention about what course I'm applying and where the course will be. (It's a NO-NO!!) My verdict, instead of talking about your family or something useless, I would recommend those peeps to talk about ur personality. I meant ur strength. This is another way to impress the interviewers.

#2:Group Discussion
The group discussion given for my group was seperated into 2 parts, English and BM. For the English part, the panel viewed a book of his which consists of billions of group discussion's question. So, I think there's no point on preparing for the group discussion by asking others. This is because the question's range is way too big that hardly to be predicted. Also, u can impress the interviewers by asking em to give permission yall to sit in a circle for the discussion. (!!)

For the English part, my group was given the topic "handphones". We were given sometime to discuss and to my surprise, the interviewee beside me spoke up right after 20sec without any discussion. Yes, spoke up at the first place can impress the interviewer, but u didn't discuss with other interviewees. So, please, even u don't want to discuss with your new friends, just act like u discuss with em. The interviewers were looking at u all the time.

For the BM part, we were asked about 'ciri kepimpinan, macamana memupukkan ciri tersebut'. In this case, please, for those who will be going to speak up first, think about others. Others might not ready yet. It's not like u speak first, the higher mark u get. Lastly, please train to speak BM before u go for the interview. I totally screwed up with BM-speaking.

Overall :
When you're done with the group discussion, the interviewers will let yall to ask some questions. Don't simply ask any question to show ur ignorance. Since many ppl were spreading the new of 'only 1.5k of applicants will get the scholarship', then there is no point on asking the interviewers again. This is just to show ur laziness to do research. Also, I was wondering the whole interviewing session of mine is nth to do with engineering (and i also didnt mention what course i'm apply -___-). This is the lucky part and also unlucky part. I'm really lucky that the question is nth to do with engineering, just some general knowledge. But, its really unlucky that none of the interviewers know about what course i'm applying, tis let me feel unsecure. To my knowledge, my fren who is also applying for the engineering course, he was asked about the petrol, 95 and 97, which one better? They also talked about subsidi petrol. Hard right? HAHA

Rating: 6/10 (I screwed up all my BM part)

Additional info:
-Just relax, the group discussion questions are very random (no point on asking anymore)
-Always smile
-Be a good listener by looking at ur fellow interviewees when they are talking
-Sit straight and never leap to back of the chair.
-Take a deep breath if u are really nervous, it works
-Take the initiative to speak/greet first
-BRUSH UP UR BM!!!

Tht's all from me. Good luck peeps!!

Course applied:Engineering

Venue:Larkin,Jb.

I was in the first panel and first group. There were 5 of us,4(including me,applied for engineering and one accounting).

Introduction:It was fully in BM.

Every questions that were asked to us related to the course that we've applied.

1.State one well-known achievement in the field of engineering and why.
2.state the concept of physics in it.
3.State one discipline of engineering that is needed more in our country and why.(choose the discipline that you're intending to do.I chose chemical engineering and in my points I included some of the environmental issues)
4.Role play.. between 4 engineers and one accountant.
5.Why do you deserve this scholarship? (Everyone was asked this question except me..when it came to me,the interviewer suddenly asked the question below..
6.Penggabungan Ict dalam kejuruteraan.(Only for me,I did not know why.)(Still managed to give points + craps.)And he didn give up,from the points I had given,he asked more and more question..
7.Which county would you like to go and why.(For this part, you need to search more and more about the country that you choose.)
questions that were shot to us.. 'Capital of Aus..which Uni..what is the speciality of Aus's currency..what is Aus's prime minister's name? How long does it take to fly to aus? )

Our session prolonged about one hour +.Maybe it's because we were the first and the interviewers were so 'fresh' to shoot us with questions. The interviewers were quite friendly. If you are applying for German Engineering and so on,dont be surprised if they asked you to speak one or two words in German. One of my team mate was asked this.

Advice:Expect the unexpected.
Always wear a smile.
Dont worry much.

Rating:.....No idea

Thats all.Good luck everyone!
