A. PRE UNIVERSITY, OVERSEAS PREPARATORY PROGRAMME
( Online application will be opened from Thursday, 11 March 2010 and will be closed on Wednesday, 17 March 2010 )

pA-LEVEL, AMERICAN FOUNDATION PROGRAM, AUSTRALIAN MATRICULATION, INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
Minimum Requirements

Passed the 2009 SPM examination with at least 8 As
Not exceeding 19 years old of age on 1 July 2010
Additional Requirements

Good command of the English language, both written and oral
Flexible, versatile and posses high teamwork capabilities
Excelled in both extra-curricular activities and sports
Sponsorship to pursue Bachelor Degree (Honours) at foreign universities will be extended subject to meeting the approved criteria.

B. FIRST DEGREE (HONOURS)
( Online application will be opened from Sunday, 7 March 2010 and closed on Sunday, 14 March 2010 )

LOCAL AND FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES
Minimum Requirements

Fulfilling at least one of the following criteria:

STPM / A-Level - at least 2 A and 1 B ; or

Diploma / Matriculation - Cumulative Grade Point Aggregate (CGPA) of at least 3.50 ; or
Australian Matriculation - TER of at least 85% ; or
American Foundation Program - SAT1 score of at least 1200 ; or
For candidates currently pursuing First Degree - Current CGPA of at least 3.50 .
and

Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English subjects
Not exceeding 25 years of age on 1 July 2010
Have confirmed or will be offered a place to pursue a First Degree in 2009 at recognised local or foreign universities
Additional Requirements

Good command of the English language, both written and oral
Flexible, versatile and posses high teamwork capabilities
Excelled in both extra-curricular activities and sports
Students who are currently pursuing a First Degree (Honours) at recognised local and foreign universities are also eligible to apply.

C. MASTER'S DEGREE AND PhD
( Online application will be opened from Sunday, 7 March 2010 and closed on Sunday, 14 March 2010 )

(LOCAL and FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES)
Minimum Requirements

Obtained a First Class (Honours) Bachelor / Master's Degree or equivalent from recognised local and foreign universities
Will pursue courses that will add value to the roles and functions of Bank Negara Malaysia
Not exceeding 30 years old for Master and 35 years old for PhD as at 1 July 2010.
and

Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English subjects
Have confirmed or will be offered a place to pursue Master's / PhD in 2010 at recognised local or foreign universities
Post graduate students who are currently pursuing Master's or PhD at recognised local or foreign universities are also eligible to apply.

Closing dates

Pre University : 7 days after announcement of SPM results (17 March 2010)
First Degree/Post Graduate: 14 March 2010

I have some questions about the BNM scholarship~
Is it FULLY funded? and will it send you to the country you choose?

and for the application form~
under TAJAAN (my brother is taking JPA scholarship- PILN), there's a column to fill 'JUMLAH(RM)'... how much should i write? i don't know exactly how much JPA sponsor my brother.... =.=

help pls!

Yes, it is fully funded (Plus much more allowance compared to JPA Haha). And most likely you'll get the country of your choice.

I believe you're referring to BNM's app form?
Hmm. Tricky one.
I believe JPA has their contract and there is a contract value? Best bet would be to call up JPA office.

Sorry, couldn't help. My contract is not with me currently and I believe the value is not stated in it. But you can estimate according to course. Or like what k3nth said, call up JPA office.

What if my sister was under her private college scholarship? Do I need to write it out under tajaan as well?

on other thought, does the tajaan refer to those kind of scholarships which award the students a certain amount of money for the month/year/semester?
The exact question from the app form is >> Adakah tuan/puan/adik beradik pernah/sedang menerima tajaan daripada mana-mana institusi?
and then there are 4 columns >> NAMA; PERHUBUNGAN; INSTITUSI; JUMLAH(RM)

so do yo think JPA is counted as one?
