One obvious question, since you mentioned "FREE Online Step by Step..." and "FREE internet access..." Why do you still need the interested pupils to ADD you in Facebook?

If something is FREE and for the GOOD sake of students, ain't it suppose to be linked here? Cut down the hassle for students as well.

Dear Xon,

Its true that something public should not be personal.
That facebook account is meant to be shared.
It should hv been a group or interest gp account but I make a mistake and make it like a personal account.

By being in fb, you get more than just the free internet access.
As stated in my invitation notes, one also will get to access to study tips, examination tips and a whole lot of other benefits. This is why, being in fb, you'll be informed.

Hope this explanation helps.

I respect you as a private tutor, yet I shall say that not everyone would go to add a completely stranger at Facebook. I would suggest you create a FB Group to replace the way you ask others to add you since not all students like to share their private life with teachers or otherwise.

Otherwise, you can create a social group here to promote your way of teaching mathematics, WoonMathic, I seen at FB. I would be one of the 1st few to join your group either. I like Maths.

I don't mean to be unfriendly, but i am speaking on behalf of students here. This site is completely run by students to students, non-profitable.

Thks Xon, for your invaluable feedback.
I fully agree with you that not many students will join a private fb account.
As I mentioned, I made a mistake by not opening a group account.
Nevertheless, I am hopeful that with a some more willing students to share, word will get around that this is something for their own good and beneficial.
well, actually if one is in a fan club or group fb account, one is still subject to being accessible, the same way if one is in a personal fb ac.
Of course, a personal account 'sounds' more intimidating somewhat.

Agains, thks for the thought.

Hv a great week end.

Mr. Woon, I believe that you need a personal account in order to create a Facebook group anyway. So why not start a group account?

Also, those who join a group are less susceptible because Facebook generally does not share your profile/personal details with other group members, only those who are your 'friends'.
