Yes, precisely what you just said. For admission into the courses, academic results is the most important. Put it simply, if you have a first class or high upper second or GPA of 3.7 and above, you should be alright though it all boils down to the satisfying the requirement of the respective universities.
Credit for the offer? I doubt it though it give your scholarship application a boost.
