Adult learning of Mandarin / Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)
I would like to know where you can learn and sit for the Chinese Proficiency Test on a part-time basis in KL or PJ? None of the private colleges offer the program and none of the private universities offer a diploma or certificate in Mandarin which is disappointing considering the importance of Chinese Diaspora and influence in the business and economic world. It is almost as if there is a discouragement for working adults who want to improve their command of the language and no where is offering it. I remember in the UK as an adult you could pay four pounds to go for a two week course on any subject you like with a adult learning institute sponsored by the UK Government so that working adults could constantly update themselves on various skills. That was IT in the 1980s and now we still don't have that kind of system in place for adults. How are we going to compete in the global front?
