I went to british council in KL the other day but the person at the counter is of not much help. i can't afford to enroll myself into a local College anymore, so i hav to sit as a private candidate. this mean having to deal with registration on my own.

I really hope that any of you who have the experience or knowledge in this field to lend me a helping hand. your kindness is greatly appreciated thanks a million

where we are asked to choose for subject registration, under the chem and bio sections there is this "carried forward June AS mark" option. this really confused me as in s'pore, i only had the choice of either H1 or H2(deeper in depth and scope).

my main and most desperate concern now is to know whether i can COMPLETE THE CIE ALL DURING THE JUNE 2011 PERIOD ONLY, as i really wish to do well this time and enter a decent Uni (IMU hopefully). my family is not well off, so i really hope to finish my studies ASAP and work. and if this is the case, which subject/syllabus code should i register for my Chem, Bio, Math and GP(gp is quite clear cut case). the math alone has as many as 7 papers.. which papers combination should i take?

i am a malaysian who studied in singapore for the past 2 years, i sat for the 2010 singapore-cambridge a-lvl. the results have not been released yet but i hav a very strong feeling tat i will not do well. therefore, i hav decided to retake the cambridge international exam in malaysia ( now that im back here). I hav no idea how the private candidate CIE will be conducted. back in s'pore, we have to sit for practical lab test for different science subjects in year 1 and it is only during year 2 that we sit for all the written papers. i wonder if, as a private candidate, i would be able to resit for the following subjects : chemistry, biology, math and General Paper all in one sitting during the June 2011 CIE which is now open for registration.

Hey Sillyboy!!! I wish to ask you something, as i dig out the old threads of JPA Scholarship PILN 2009 result, I read that you have done your A-Levels on your own and now studying in UK, for Maths. Are you under scholarships when you were in A-Levels? Or you have been sponsored since the very early of the day? And how do you fund yourself in UK? Which university are you studying now? I'm now concern about my JPA scholarship, as i don't think i was doing well in the interview. Plus, with my result 6A+, 4A, i don't think i'd stand a high chance on getting it.

By the way, i have applied for Science and wished to major in Actuarial Science, if not, maybe Maths & Statistics. But if i failed to secure JPA, i'd be studying A-Levels with the aids of 100% tuition waiver in MCKL, but still not sure though. Maybe going Form 6. Anyways, I'd really appreciate it if you answer the above questions asked. Thanks in advance! =)
