Haha, I'm sure Germany will be a much more interesting place to explore. And you can flex your German language skills to the max! Food in Sydney is diverse (I even saw a Pappa Roti shop nearby my uni, haha) but some foods such as curry don't taste the same as Malaysia's. Hey, at least we met once in Sunway Pyramid last year! I never had the chance to meet the Lord of Spammers though, lol... I do hope we can meet again someday, perhaps in a smaller group. I feel more comfortable that way. By the way, I went to INTEC once for JPA briefing before we flew. Thought I would spot you somewhere but the chances ain't high since INTEC is quite huge...

That sounds so cool! I've always wondered about the grass thing...hahaha! Interesting to know it's true. Good to hear that you're adapting alright. I'm sure food won't be a problem too, eh? Too bad we didn't get to meet up before you left..
My degree course is 5 years because it covers Masters too.

I'll be there until 2013 unless I get to do Honours, then it'll be extended to 2014. There are definitely cultural differences, some may seem strange to Malaysians (e.g. walking barefooted all the time even in uni, shops closing as early as 5pm) but nothing too bizarre. Uni life is also a bit different, students are more vocal and they really do sit on grass and study unlike Malaysians which we do that only to pose for advertisements, haha... So far I'm adapting just fine, maybe because Sydney itself is a multicultural city so the locals won't treat you as if you are some alien being.
Wow, your pre-u is indeed very long! Then how long is your degree course?
-
Sydney? Wow...that sounds great! How long will you be there? Are you adapting okay there or is it not much difference compared to M'sia? As for me, I won't be leaving until next year 2012. Not very sure yet, but I think i'll take mechanical =)

Haha, it's okay... It doesn't really matter. I'm in UNSW, Sydney; studying Bachelor of Commerce. I'm fine but the weather here is really erratic. The pace of studying is still relaxing at the moment but it's gradually picking up. How about you? When are you going to Germany? Oh ya, what sort of engineering are you planning to specialise in?

I just realised it odd that I have not added you before...lol
So how are you?
